I was just wondering. Have all of you been tested for (ANCA/pANCA/ASCA)???

Two serological markers, perinuclear anti-neutrophilic cytoplasmic antibody (pANCA) and antisaccharomyces
cerevisiae antibody (ASCA), have been proposed as tools to assist in diagnosing
inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), in differentiating ulcerative colitis (UC) from Crohn’s disease (CD) in
patients with indeterminate colitis (IC), and in determining therapy and monitoring response to treatment.

I'm asking this because my GI never ordered it for me. Also if it's positive doesn't it mean we have immunological response to yeast and we should remove it from our diet:ybatty: has anybody discussed this with his GI:confused2:
