Shaking hands/fingers

Hi guys,

I was recently diagnosed with Crohns in Nov 2013 and have had a right hemicolectomy. A week before my surgery I noticed when sending text messages or holding things my right fingers/hand have a slight tremor. It worse in my right hand then my left and only started a week before the surgery.

It still happens now.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? I am going to see a neurologist and check for anything really bad, but I have read online that this can be symptomatic of Crohns too?

Did you start any new meds or stop any prior to surgery?

Nope.

My hands do that sometimes, I have always attributed it to hypoglycemia, have you had your blood sugar tested recently?

my hands do that sometimes. I always thought it had something to do with being dehydrated.

I get that sometimes, especially when on prednisone. Eat something with sugar and see if that helps
