Sharp pain right back

I've been recently diagnosed with Crohn's. I'm on Delzicol and Uceris. I start Remicade transfusions in a week.

This weekend I had my appetite back for the first time in months. Frankly, I ate like a bit of an idiot. I just had a very sharp pain in right side of my back that went from the hip to mid rib. It lasted about 30 seconds and caused me to gasp and moan. It is still a bit sore.

Is this part of Crohn's? I hadn't had that sharp, take my breathe away pain in my back before. The pain is typically in my gut.

It is possible that it could be the Crohns. Ask your doctor.

Was it a once-off pain, or is it recurring? Could have been just a muscle pulling to something more along the lines of a kidney stone....

If it was a once-off, I personally would not be too concerned (unless the pain persists for more than a day or two - then get it checked). But, if it comes back, I would definitely contact the Dr.

When I would over eat I would get a pain on the right side that I would sometimes feel in my back. It possible it could be from the Crohns

Thank you! It just happened once, so that's a relief. I was tense for a half hour afraid it was going to happen again.

It's a scary kind of pain! Small portions is key for me!
