Okay, this isn't a "funny" thread but I still find my own tough little cookie amusing.

Last night, she decided she'd had enough of my methotrexate injections. So now, at the ripe old age of 8, she officially does her own shots. I guess it makes sense since she's administering her own hydrocortisone enema......

Are our kids tough or what?!?!?!?!?!?

:soledance:

:medal1: What a mature little lady...love it. I was impressed by V at 14 doing her own Humira shots but EIGHT is like way impressive. Violet would not have done them herself at eight!

How wonderful...and sad that they grow up so fast...but I LOVE that spunk!!! How is she doing otherwise???

:ysmile: You must be very proud.
Our kids deal with more than most.
Glad to hear she is taking it as best she can for the situation.

:medal1: for Claire

Any tougher they'd rust J!

She never ceases to make my heart sing Julie!

Very impressive at that age! My daughter is 9 and would be running in the opposite direction.
I remember my mom trying to give me a flu *** in my teens (she is a GP) - took her ages to catch me first

You all are terrific. Love the comments.

Knock on wood.....I think we finally are headed in right direction. The bleeding has ceased along with her complaints. She's been going along without a care in the world for nearly four weeks now. I'm so thankful!
