Hi everyone,

I've been on azathioprine since September and last week my IBD nurse signed off for me to start requesting prescriptions through my GP surgery rather than the hospital, as all my bloods have been fine. She mentioned sending me some kind of record book in the post, and today this arrived:

As you can see I have to take it to all appointments etc, however it has some results already filled in at the back...

Now I've never been given my blood results before, and I can't see GP's, Dietitian's etc taking their time to fill this in from their computer screens every time I visit so...what exactly is the point that I'm missing here? If it doesn't have up to date results in it then what good is it to any healthcare provider?

Genuinely curious as I'm finding this a bit of a head stratcher!

Thanks in advance!

It seems like everyone would need to be consistent.

My thoughts exactly! I've been on this medication for a while now and nobody has asked me for any record of my results. They can just pull it up on their computer screen! Unless I force it under people's noses to be filled in at appointments I can't see what practical use it has [emoji848]
