Lots of anxiety lately. I believe it (anxiety ) brings on the flares and no matter what foods I eat or what I do I can’t seem to get it back under control.
Any advise?

Yes, many with a shot in the stomach every two weeks.
Three days of pain had me call the Dr. He increased the acid reflux meds and told me to check back in a week. I don't think that is the problem

Call your Dr back and tell him it's not getting any better. Maybe he can give you something else. But since you think that may not be the issue, you might wanna express that to him too bc we know our bodies better than anyone.
Good luck to you, hope you feel better soon.

I get really bad anxiety and it really affects my crohns too.
I know drugs ain't always the answer but i take propanalol (beta blocker) for my anxiety and panic attacks and it helps me so much. Also my GP said that cutting out stimulants like coffee and getting plenty of rest and regulary exercise.
Sorry don't know if this is much help, hope things get better soon

Yup, my anxiety causes my Crohn's to act up, too. And then that causes me to have MORE anxiety! It is a vicious cycle! But light exercise has seemed to help me manage my stress.

Is that something you Have to take daily? I am not affraid of adding meds as long as they help. My anxiety sometime has me stuck in my home.
I can cut back on the coffee too. Thanks

Yeah the propanalol is a tablet i take at night daily , my GP prescriped it as i was very anxious to the point i wouldn't leave the house either and i started having panic attacks. It really helps take the edge off (so much calmer with it) I was a bit of a coffee fiend as well so i've cut back to maybe just a couple of cups a week :)
