Sick of feeling ill.

Hi

Im yet to be diagnosed, but ive been ill for a while now. About 4 years ago I was diagnosed with IBS, which flarred up sometimes and others I was fine. I had a baby in August this year and since then my symptons have got much worse. Ive seen so many doctors and had blood tests and they have yet to find anything. Im alway tierd, unmotivated, usually constipated, my arms legs bones all ache, ive got dry skin, there is sometimes bright red blood in my stools and mucas, more recently ive got very visable veins and tday ive not been able to get off the toilet. Sorry for TMI. I was just wondering if anyone has experienct anything like this and if they think it could be crohns? ive got another doctors appointment tomorrow, and hopefully get a little further into finding out whats up with me. x

Hey kel1i2005! I had very similiar symptoms to you. I alternate between D and constipation. I had a colonoscopy, small bowel follow through, upper scope, serology test, and finally the pill cam before I actually got my diagnosis of Crohn's!

I would just recommend getting to a good GI, and having them schedule you for a colonoscopy. For most people, it's the way to diagnosis with any IBD.

Hi Kel1i2005,

I was misdiagnosed with IBS as well and it took them a while to get to the bottom (mind the pun!) of my problems.

As Mendy said, it might be worth seeing if you can get sent for a scan or colonoscopy to see whats going on x
