Skincare on Prednisone

Hey, guys!

I was wondering if you could share any product that has provided any relief from Prednisone's skin side effects.

My little brother is currently on 10mg of Prednisone. It has helped him a lot. However, his skin has become even more sensitive than it was before, and he has developed cystic acne and general skin irritation. He's autistic and in high school; things are tough enough.

If any product has helped you or a family member's skin even a little bit, I'd be very happy to hear about it.

Hi, so sorry for your brothers acne while on prednisone. I had this same issue recently. Is he tapering off prednisone? Or will he be on it long term?

I also developed really bad cystic acne while on prednisone. I was put on minocycline 100mg twice daily and it really helped the last time I was on steroids.

I get really bad acne on prednisone. My wife is a esthetician so she has all sorts of skin goodies at home. I found the best thing for my acne is a ozone steamer. They are pretty cheap I think around $50 on Amazon but it works great for me.
