WHY is it that everytime i get an mri, the doctors say it's normal, then when i pick it up it's not? My gastro's office called and told me my mri was ''basically'' normal, and no other details, so I went and picked up the report, and it doesn't look normal to me.
The spleen, liver, gallbladder, aorta, pancreas,IVC ETC IS NORMAL

but here is what is sticking out at me-
there is a probable osseous hemangioma measuring 1.5 cm right sacrum
the ureter bladder is partially distended without focal or diffuse urinary bladder wall thickening.
There is trace free fluid in the pelvis.
IMPRESSION-
trace free fluid in the pelvis, possible rectosigmoid wall thickening. Correlation with CT of the abdomen and pelvis reccommend for better evaluation of the bowl wall.

btw i went to the potty before taking the test.

Im not a doctor but i trust what my doctor tells me, saying that, i know feelings differ depending on where you are from and who your doctor is.

I also read every report that is written about me and google every word that i dont understand, sounds like they are going to send you for a CT scan to access your bowel further? People often assume scans will tell you everything that is wrong but its about how they are interpreted and they are used by doctors as a piece of the puzzle to work out the best treatment.

Hope you get some answers soon

the reason i got the mri was because i didnt want the ct scan, i am not going for a ct scan.
all i know is that this mri report does not look normal!

Sorry if i dont sound sympathetic but i really dont understand your frustration, do you have Crohns or UC? Going by your other posts i understand not diagnosed?

When you say stomach problems in your other post, do you mean stomach or do you mean bowel? You can have crohns in the stomach but youd need an endoscopy to see that, it might be gastric ulcers.

Why would you not want to have a CT scan? Radiation? You have to compromise if you want definative answers, Doctors arent Gods, they cant diagnose you properly without all the facts.

Sorry if i sound slightly rude but its sounds almost if you WANT to be diagnosed with crohns. It really is NOT something you want (sorry for stating the obvious). Its really not very easy to offer advice if you dont know the full facts - there are hundreds of possible gastro intestinal problems you might have.

If you arent happy with one Doctors non diagnosis, go and see a different one.
