So what food do you stick to while flared?

Just curious what foods people tend to consider safe and stick with day-in and day-out while they are flared.

The food I can eat while flaring:

First and foremost, I did the best on mostly liquids and some soft food - protein shake made up of whey protein powder, almond milk or lactose-free milk (just in case) and a banana, vanilla milkshakes (and did fine with them); Ensure or Boost; clear broth soups like chicken noodle; yogurt, cottage cheese, macaroni and cheese, frozen yogurt...

I have a very short list:
Protien - mainly chicken breast and eggs.
Fruits - I eat lots of grapes.
Juice
Potatoes
Chicken or beef broth
Tea
Booster Juice smoothies - very berry made dairy free. Meals worth of calories and no pain.

Popsicles go down ok sometimes, and GUMMY BEARS! Those are always tolerated.

My triggers, even when not flaring, are: Rice, oats, gluten, corn, dairy, nuts and seeds....so those are most definitly out when I'm sick. And processed foods are out, because almost all processed foods have one or more of those ingredients.

Chicken soup is awesome to have during a flare. I can usually eat red meat and chicken without problems. Pretty much any fruit or veggie bothers me. Rice seems to always help me with diarrhea. Anything high in fiber makes things worse.

Oats porridge made with water and with a bit of milk, just a tad of sugar for taste, potentially a few slices of apple with that

Polenta, cooked with more water than usual

Semolina, cooked with water and milk, just a tad of sugar

Lightly cooked chicken breast with rice, maybe some green beans or cucumber with that (both as salads, the green beans from a can - the thin variety)

Potatoe mash, potentially with a bit of chicken, although it really needs to be the right sort of potatoes, so that's a bit risky

Neutral wavers (the stuff they hand out at holy mass)

Potentially neutral liquid supplemental nutrition

Dark bread with just a bit of butter and honey (although it depends on the variety of bread)
