So yeah, my story
Wonderful title I have going there, I'm quite bad and writing so bear with me lol.
About 3 years ago I became very ill, it all came on pretty suddenly pain in my right side, diarrhea, dizziness, nausia and fatigue, so I went to the doctors and they told me several times that nothing was wrong with me or that it was probably only in my head or that they couldn't explain the pain so I just stopped going.
Couple of weeks later I was rushed to hospital were noone could diagnose what was wrong, i had exploritory surgery and they found an abcess and I had a few inches removed. I was in hospital for 5 weeks in total because of other complications and got kicked out of collage for missing too much time which actually turned out for the better.
When I came out of surgery I was dumped off by the surgeons and Dr's at the hospital, no one actually explained to me what crohns disease is, what is does or why I had to have my operation, just nothing at all. I wasn't put on any medication after my operation and haven't been on any for the last 3 years apart from some vitamins and iron tablets and have been relativly symptom free.
So I know very little about this disease, or even met or talked to someone else with it, but I really wanna find out (I live in a small town and when I bring this up at the doctors they know as little as I do,) I left it far to long last time and for me it was an awful experince which i'd prefer not to go through again
