Heck . . . I'll take anything. We've had so much diarrhea to deal with lately I was so happy to see something that looked normal.

Never have I been so excited about a piece of sh*t since I dated my ex-boyfriend in college.

Thanks for the laugh. My girls are always coming up with creative and descriptive ways to describe their poo. It is the lot of a mom of an IBDer.

buchanaj, I know the feeling so I can imagine how pleased you are. Well done you.
Best Wishes

She hasn't started any meds yet thought right? Any idea what helped to move to solid? BTW not to be a downer but don't be surprised if you go backwards again. O just recently did that to me. One good toilet trip and we celebrated then went south again. Then a few days later a semi good one and alas south again...her bowels are screwing with me at this point.

No . . she's not on any meds yet. Of course, this morning she had a blowout again but hey . . . . I'll take what I can get. She said she had another normal BM this afternoon after school.

Can't really think of anything we did differently. She had a turkey/pepporoni/ranch sandwich for dinner last night. The last time she had that, she had diarrhea not too long after eating. This time, she has a solid BM after eating it. So frustrating!!! There is no predictability to this mess.

We started her on the Carnation Instant Breakfast this morning and it was a hit. Think it is going to go over much better than the other options.

😂 love it (ex b/f). Hope things stay firm . 💖

Yes, it's very frustrating. We've been trying to figure it out since our daughter was a baby.

Hi it can drive u crazy trying to work out what works n what doesnt. As it can be ok one day n not the next !!!. Love n best wishes 💕

Honestly all poop stinks but why is the diaherria so so foul smelling? Is that normal? Solid ones make for easier clean up in 2yr old but the diaherria man. She's my fourth and I've cleaned many many diapers in my day but her loose stools smell like my nursing home c-diff days. (She was tested and it was negative, coupled with the obstapation would be real unlikely)

Out of my curiosity, is her pop green?

I was so happy the first time Grace went poop without crying, I call to tell my mother-in-law.:)
We are a different breed on this forum.

In effect diarrohea hasn't undergone the procedure in the colon of having fluid squeezed out of it, its almost pretty much as it is when it exits the terminal ileum. No wonder the smell is very bad, makes me wretch some times tbh.
