i have a few questions i am a big milk drinker and a pizza eater does any of those make peoples flare up and another question when anyone does a bm does it have a rotten smell to it i know people bms stick but i mean horabble

Mine usually smell pretty disgusting!

I am not a milk drinker, but I have some dairy now and again and it doesn't really hurt me. I can eat pizza, i just regret it badly about an hour after I have it! It doesn't cause a flare, but it can exacerbate your symptoms. Everyone is different though! Some people can eat whatever they want, some people can't eat much at all.

thanx for the answers i know everyone is diff but i like to know what it does to others

I don't drink milk, but I eat a lot of cheese. It never constipates me! But it doesn't seem to bother me. I eat pizza about once a week or so, and it sits fine with me.

Here's my two cents: Milk - definitely still drink it. Large quantities (over a litre/day) cause minor issues. Cheese - more than a couple thin slices can cause my bowels to slow a little. Pizza - for me it's still good. However, it must be thin crust (I really miss thick crust!). The pepperoni must be pretty mild. Ice cream - two thumbs WAAAYYYY UP!

Oh - odour - yeah, it can be pretty vile. You haven't mentioned if you have had surgery or what your diet is. Those will affect it greatly. Meat (big part of my diet), garlic, and high fat foods, especially with a surgery shortened bowel, can really add a certain "je ne sais quoi" to the "fragrance"...

Milk products cannot cause a flare but they can certainly aggravate one. I would never dream of drinking milk, eating ice cream, or cheese during a flare. But I'm also lactose intolerant. So even when I'm not glaring I'd be paying the price for a few days for a glass of milk or ice cream cone. If milk isn't a problem for you then I'd keep doing what you're doing, but if you find by keeping a food journal that it triggers your symptoms I'd suggest limiting it. That goes for any food you notice exacerbates your symptoms.
