Sorry, but I just need a small vent.

I am just so tired of being sick and tired! I am tired of my guts hurting every day and nite. Tired of not having the energy to take care of my house like I did before. Tired of being emotional about everything. Tired of having to run to the toilet. Tired of being nauseous. Tired of the diarrhea. Tired of pills and giving myself shots and not being able to feel better.

I'd be tired of it too. I have similar issues and I'm also tired of it. It will get better though, just hang in there and remember to take care of yourself first and that other things can wait (such as house work etc.).

Hi im new to the site and totally relate to the tiredness its taking over my life. The worst thing is people can see if you have broken your arm or leg so they understand if you cant function properly. With crohns its invisable to people and they cant understand why your complainging your too tired to do normal every day things. I have a lovely boyfriend who is very supportive but even he struggles to understand how the disease makes you feel.I dont know if you agree but there should be more education on crohns as so many people seem to suffer from it . cheers

Just hang in there,Hopefully things will get better for you soon. i Know what this disease does to you. i have had it for 21 years now and counting and it's been a rough battle.But, you have to see it through. It's very hard being tired and fatigued all the time and taking a horse load of pills. But i am sure it's worth it in the end.:hang:

Thanks for that I dont mean to winge just sick and tired pardon the pun! Un like alot of people im not on any drugs I was on a concoction inc amitriptyline but the more i read up on the side affects and operations etc it freaked me out so i stoped everything. Right or wrong thats what i have done I didnt really have faith in my dr and had even less faith when he put me forward for stomache hypnosis... has anyone ever heard of this... My heart goes out to you all stay positive x
