Stable Medicinal high CBD strains

Hi folks,

I have been looking into this topic for a short while and I know people have used a Rick Simpsons style oil to cure other diseases with a high level of success.

Amid my quest I recently read a post and I'm sure it was in this forum, but I can no longer find it. It detailed 4 different strains (available in the USA I think) with high CBD content.

A grower I have been put in touch with gave his advice and it was to find the a reliable, stable, strain, as it will likely produce a reasonable yield and if I choose correctly will have the desired levels of THC, CBD etc.

So my questions are:

Can anyone direct me to the post (providing I didn't imagine it)

Can anyone direct me to some strains that are stable and reasonable yielders, for helping to treat/alleviate the symptons of severe Crohns/Collitis?

Harlequin and Cannatonic come to mind. Also the guys at the "CBD Crew" have worked out some pretty solid genetics with 1:1 CBD:THC ratios.

I think Cannatonic would be your best bet. I have seen and heard nothing but good things about the strain and seeds are available from a few online companies. The only problem with growing from seed is that you have to pheno hunt for a high CBD strain...the only way you can truly do this is if you have access to a lab that can test the product.

Cannatonic will most likely give you a plant with a CBD % between 3-16%. I have seen a ton of this plant in my area around 5-7% CBD but I have seen it as high as 16%.

I made my first batch of RSO on Monday and all went well.

Hopefully the next batch I need to make will be from Cannatonic.
