Hi - I started back on Aza about 3 weeks ago,75mg, my GI wanted me to go back on but i really wasn't keen. I have had a terrible weekend with severe abdominal pains, so not taken them since Friday and feel a whole lot better already. Mr GI doctor is on holiday until my next appointment in December but i have spoken to his clinic and they assured me I have done the right thing stopping the tablets.
Mr doctor insisted that this was the best treatment for me since there is a lot of inflammation at the site of my surgery (from 20 years ago) but apart from some bad attacks of the big D and some fatigue I generally feel OK. So my problem going onto the Aza was the side effects of increased risk of infection etc and the rest.
So I just wondered if anyone else had anything similar or to hear your views ?
