Hey all,

After all the hoops I had to go through with my GI, it was finally my GP who listened to me and prescribed me a 3 months initial trial of LDN :) I started it last night and had some crazy dreams about zombies, but it wasn't super scary. This, combined with sticking to a strict no grain, no sugar, no dairy diet and I think I'm hopefully on the road to good health!!

Thanks to everyone for the words of advice. I'll keep you posted with results in the upcoming months!

Congrats, you should hopefully be feeling pretty good after your 3 month "trial" and will continue on. Keep us posted.

It seems like a lot of people are hopping on LDN around the same time (myself included) -- very cool! Should be interesting to compare notes in the next few months. Woohoo! :D

Hey Acemagic! So happy to hear you are doing well. We must be on some sort of mental sync! Not only did your experience with Paleo encourage me, but after tests this week and discovering way more active Crohn's than I thought I had, I am preparing to go back to UCSF to push for LDN myself! I'll be following you again. (Don't worry it's not really stalking  )

You still sticking to Paleo? Or something modified to complement the LDN?

Hey Lala!

Ouch, sorry to hear you're flaring, but glad to hear you're taking on the dietary & LDN challenge! Nothing has changed much on my end. I'm still following Paleo as best as I can (a busy schedule means I have less time to prepare specific Paleo dishes), but I'm definitely sticking to meats, veggies and fruits as best as I can! Nothing new has arisen, but I figured going on LDN couldn't hurt. With the minimal side effects and the rave reviews I'm hearing from quite a few people, I figured I had to give it a try. My only other option is going on Humira, which I really want to avoid if possible. Keep us posted on your progress!

I am wondering if maybe we should get together and create a packet of info to help in our arguments with our Dr's who are less than motivated to put us on LDN.

Gather up the studies, trials and info we can find.

Hi Adam,

Fellow Canuck here. Vancouver. Very interested in how it goes as I'll be doing the same in January. Already on the full paleo autoimmune protocol as of last week, three month supply of LDN should arrive next week! They keep pushing Humira here too and I'm not quite ready to go down that road either.

Exnay on the Zombie movies noted :p

I have to say, I went to bed last night immediately after watching two episodes of The Walking Dead back-to-back. No nightmares, thankfully! :p
