Starting my Prep - YAY!!!!

Hi, All.
Its been a while since i posted but i stop by several times a week to check in on my fellow Chronies.
Anyways, i just started my prep for a colonoscopy tomorrow morning. I hate this stuff. i mean its not so bad but i cant take drinking so so so much and whats going to follow???? uuucccchhhhh. but im keeping a positive attitude and all is going to be ok.
I have, thankfully, been feeling very good lately. im on lialda and 6mp. its been a pain to be on the 6mp, with the blood test every other week, but i think its working so im not complaining.
My GI just wants to know whats going on inside of me, so for a scope i am going. im so excited.
Anyways - just wanted to say hi and with everyone luck.

Hi, Steve! Good luck tomorrow. I have to start drinking my prep on Thursday for my scope on Friday. Ain't it fun?! LOL!

Hi Steve! Soooooo what kinda prep do you have to drink? Some you have to drink by the gallons (so it seems) I find that hard enough if you are sick let alone healthy, that stuff is horrid.

I guess you have been feeling good, we lose some crohnies here when they feel good. Too bad, everyone can help others who are not so great, gives them inspiration! LOL

I glad you are excited about a scope (what planet are you from lol) hope it all works out and please bless us with your presence again and let us know the outcome. Glad to see you back! Good luck with your scope tomorrow!

Good luck for your colonoscopy! They suck! (No pun intended!) I had one a week ago and to be fair the worst part really is drinking that horrible concoction! So I hope you have a better time of it than me! Ick!!

the concoction is really not that bad. my prep is 4 dulcolax pill, 64oz of gateraide with 238g of Mirilax. I have to drink 8oz every 15 min until its done.
i cant complain - some poeple on her sound like that they have to drink bleach before a scope, so ill just count my blessings on this. lol.

Hi Steve: I'm with Penny - it's great to hear about people doing well with Crohn's. Thanks for the post, and sorry you have to go through the prep (although I must say that the Gatorade prep sounds like a dream to me, lol, having done the aforementioned "bleach" prep).
