Thanks, Astra. I was one of the people in the study and the drug helped me tremendously. Of the two doses I was given, I was able to stay well for almost six months after I received the last dose.

I tried to get the drug on compassionate grounds since my doctor was willing to write an 'off-label' prescription. However, the drug company wouldn't go for it. Since the company is yet to do the Phase 3 part of the study, it will be two to three years before the drug is on the market. Which kinda sucks and why I'm off to get an ileostomy!
