Hi all, I had small bowel resection Feb 16th and I am on the road to recovery! actually, I feel great compared to this time last month! My question is I have a little blood coming from the incision, not puss, but some blood. I am going to Dr. Tuesday and just wondering if anyone has had this? I have the tape that will fall off over the incision so I am not sure if this is normal? Thanks, Billy

I had some after my third surgery. I was scared and called my doctor immediately thinking it was a complication. I was told that it was ok and to go under some luke warm water and let it run on it. I then was told to come in to see the surgeon and my doctor just incase so they can look at it. Everything turned out ok as far as the incision area.

If I were you I would give the doctor a call just incase.

as long as its red blood your good to go ..of course have the doc check though but dont lose sleep over it
