Hey gang happy new year. Well i know myself and a few other members ate having problems with stinging pee. Well i had all sorts of tests blood and urine tests for a UTI or something similar also had a CT and MRI scans and ultrasounds of bladder and kidneys. Well I went to a new urologist who did another high definition ultrasound and found that where the intestines and bladder are there was some inflamed nerves due to the crohn's and unfortunately its part of crohn's and he said unfortunately cant do much about it except to keep working on getting my crohn's under control and the stingy pee should resolve itself. So i hope this helps others with this problem

Glad you found the cause Ozboz. Hopefully it does resolve when you get your flare under control. :)

I was having issues with overactive bladder and having the urge to go even after I had already gone seconds earlier. I had a lot of tests done and nothing was found. Once my flare started to diminish a bit the urge to urinate did as well. My Urologist believes that the inflammation in my intestines is putting pressure on my bladder thus causes what seems like overactive bladder.

Definitely do tests to see if something else is the cause but Crohn's can certainly cause a lot of problems making it seem like you have more health problems than you actually do.
