I have a problem when I use the dans ad bags in warm weather. If my skin becomes moist with perspiration they adhesive becomes smelly, I had the Stoma nurse have a sniff and she tried to reassure me that it was not a poo odour, but regardless it is still an odour. We changed the bag and there was no sign of leaking on the seal all was good so it is definitely not poop but it still smellsMy youngest boy 7 will not sit on my knee if miss piggy is stinky. :shifty:

Has anyone else experienced this? I have a few coloplast samples and they don't seem to get the odour so I guess I will order them next month. I tried holister and they smelled too.

The adhesive itself smells? Interesting. Clearly doesnt agree with your skin in some way.

The only way for all of us, is to experiment with different products. Lets hope the coloplast does the trick for you! I've been very happy with the coloplast products I have to say.

I use coloplast and have never had a problem with smell. Hope you find something that works for you!

Since I got my Stoma - my sense of smell and taste has been completely out of whack.
I seem to now have the nose of a bloodhound.
I swear I can smell poop stinks - but nobody else can.
It's weird.

I also can smell it often but no one else. I noticed if I shower with the bag it does smell more because the wafer (1 piece) seems to allow odour to penetrate easier. I change ever time I shower 1-2 days and I'm then less anxious.
