My Crohn's has been very quiet for the past several months (knock on wood). Then I got a stomach bug. It was severe, with 3 days of vomiting and diarrhea. I ended up in the ER due to dehydration.

Anyway, while the vomiting has gone away, and I no longer feel so icky, I still have the diarrhea. It hasn't gone away. I missed 3 days of medication due to the bug. I am on 75mg mercaptopur and 6mg of Budesonide. Could missing 3 days be what the problem is? Or is it possible that the stomach bug has "reactivated" the Crohn's?

It could just be that you're taking a long time to return to normal. I have only had one stomach bug since being diagnosed. It was only a 24 hour bug, so nowhere near as bad as the one you had (caught it off one of the kids at work, so guessing it was rotavirus which adults don't usually get rather than noro virus). But even so, it was 2 weeks before I had anything even remotely resembling a normal bowel movement!

My nurse ran stool samples to rule out anything more serious like c. diff. but it was just the after effects.

How long since you had the bug?

Stay hydrated and try to keep eating. I would call the doctor if it continues, it is possible for something like this to activate your Crohns. Just relax and you will deal with it if it has otherwise keep on those meds and good luck.
