stool question

Does anyone else get green stools with red meat? it only seems to happen with ground sirloin ...but it doesn't seem to matter if its organically healthy red meat with no hormones or reg any name red meat...just wondering if anyone else has this happen?

:) No problem!

I have read a lot that fat can be a problem for a lot of Crohnies. We have trouble absorbing and digesting it properly. Red meat is more fatty than leaner meats like chicken and turkey. This is why you will find in many books on IBD that they recommend limiting red meat to maybe once a week. It could be that your body is having a hard time digesting the ground beef. Many Crohnies report that they have trouble digesting red meat--especially stringy meats like pot roast, roast beef, etc.
