Grrrr!!!! I am so tired of the easy bruising! I have bruises that I don't even have a clue as to how got there. Whether it's just the Crohn's, or the Aza, or both. Tired of looking like I have been man handled, (sorry for the figure of speech, men), and of customers asking me about them.

When's the last time you had your bloods checked? Because bruising on aza could mean that it's affecting your bloods. Have you had the bruising checked out by a doctor?

Well, I am due to get my blood checked tomorrow, hopefully! I went over a month without the Aza, stupid insurance company. Have been on it a month again, so going to have it checked. My iron was fine on the last blood test, so shouldn't be that, and had just had a B-12 shot then also. Guess we will find out, I will call his nurse about it. Thanks, Rebecca!

Well, I used to be on them more off than on for years, but haven't had to be on prednisone for about 15 years, with exception of a month of it when this flare was first diagnosed.

Ok. Finally got my blood drawn today, should know by next week if it's the Aza causing the bruising, or something else.

Ok, let me just say that....doctors and nurses are maddening!!!! I called yesterday to find out how the results came out, the nurse tells me that it all looks fantastic. Had her fax me the results, for the first time since Sept, my RBC is listed as "low"...so I get to looking at the results from the end of Sept., the end of Jan., and last week's. It seems the RBC count as been steadily declining, not alot, but declining in all 3 of these, to where it's now "just a little bit low" (the nurse's words). I asked her today on the phone if I should worry that I am bleeding slightly somewhere, she says no. Acts like it's no big deal. But I bet that is helping with the bruising.
