"Super Colon"! ACS exhibit

Oh my goodness! The American Cancer Society has an inflatable, walk-thru colon that is touring the States!!!!!! I watched the YouTube video - in addition to colon cancer it also shows (very basic) signs of IBD. Yay! Maybe this will help people understand IBD is more than an upset stomach :ycool:

That colon was in my town too!!! LOL It has been here every year and I miss it everytime. It is cool!

Pen - I just found out it was in my teeny little town *yesterday*... I can't believe it was here and I missed it! Later this month it's going to be at a hospital about 2hrs from me... might have to talk my husband into a road trip

Speaking of giant colons, if anyone visits Philly, be sure to stop by the Mutter Museum for their display of medical oddities, including a HUGE colon from a man who suffered toxic megacolon. It's crazy!!!
