Hi I'm 18 andI have IBS and chronic constipation. I take 17 g of mirilax every night.
I've recently started my year abroad and I do not like the food here so basically I'm eating crap. I soon became constipated even with the mirilax. For the first day I had random bouts of diarrhea but still felt like I had to go. And the next day I knew I was completely blocked because I couldn't go at all and I had pain in my lower right abdomen (which I get when I'm very constipated). Ithay night I did a suppository and it didn't work. I doubled my dose of mirilax.
Today I'm trying another suppository.
When I first insert it I feel like I really need to go but as time passes so does the feeling and I'm able to hold it far past the 15 min it says to.
Can someone help me explain why I'm still constipated! Please!:sign0085:
