Surgery and Imuran...and side effects

Well today I was prescribed Imuran to go along with my Pentasa and to slowly ween off entrocot.

I'm scared of taking this stuff!! So many pills!!

I also just found out I have to have my tonsils out sept 16th. Haven't been able to tell GI yet however I'm wondering if I will have to stop it??

Also wanted to ask if anyone has had a light headed/drunk feel from taking it?

I was dizzy and felt like I was in a fog when I first started it.

Never had an issue with the Imuran when I first started it. Had a bout of nausea the day after starting 5-ASA though.
