Surgery in two weeks

Ileo-colon resection comin right up.

Anyone with experience care to shed some light about what's going to go down?
The doctors gave me a basic gist of what's going to happen: 10 days in hospital, 2 months no lifting and fatigue. Should be able to eat normally within a couple weeks.

People that have gone through it would give me better insight I'm sure.

Resection

Congrats! Your quality of life is about to improve! I had an ileostomy and resection about 13 years ago and it changed my life. The surgery is no picnic but they keep you supplied with pain meds so it's not so bad. Make sure you walk a lot so you can poop! Weird to have to work at that!
