Hi friends, I posted about 6 weeks ago about my son. He came down with stomach flu symptoms in Dec off and on during that month. He was previously diagnosed with Crohns back in April. His Dr. was very proactive in getting tests after the 3rd time of having vomiting in a 6 week period but I could not wait the last time because he was acting so sick. I took him to the emergency room and he had a slight blockage from his crohns, it was very inflamed. The next week he was scheduled for a bowl resection. We spent a total of 8 days in the hospital. It was painful to see but by the time we went home he was doing very well. He did get a infection at his surgery site but other then that he seemed to do really well. I just wanted to post this update and be available for any moms or dads that have any questions about this surgery. I can fill you in on what to expect and ease any worries. Thanks for the support.

Wow! You've had a rough couple of months. I am so glad to hear that he is doing well after surgery. I know surgery is never an easy choice, but seeing that he is doing so much better now makes it worth it. I hope he continues to thrive!
