Swollen anal skin tags after fistula surgery

Hi, I just had fistula surgery yesterday. I noticed today that my skin tag ( 2 inches away from surgery site) that used to be just a lose skin has gottenn bigger and harder, it looks like a blister waiting to burst. Is this normal after surgery? Does it subside on its own? Has anyone experienced this after their surgery?

It probably is just irritated and got more inflamed and swollen due to the surgery. Personally I think any changes like that are worth discussing with the surgeon to be safe. When is your post op follow up appointment?'

My follow up appointment is in 2 weeks time. I will try and call and get some answers.

I have a big skin tag too which my doctor said is harmless unless it bothers me.

It is not painful. It is just that what used to be like a loose skin looks like it is full with something inside. I guess it really got irritated. Just got a word from the doctor, it is as expected because of all the work they did yesterday. They did an Examination under Anaesthesia and did the fistula as well.
