swollen lymph nodes

Does anyone who is on ANY biologic know if swollen lymph nodes (tender) are a cause for concern ???
In the neck by the way.

I'm gonna be concerned of course...I just need some opinions...advice please ??

Hey T,

I have just done a quick search of the various drug sites regarding Cimzia and they all state much the same thing....

Call your doctor at once if you have any of these other serious side effects:

swollen glands in your neck, armpits, or groin;

I guess it's a no brainer hun, ring the doc to be on the safe side. Fingers, toes and everything else crossed it turns out to be nothing!

Always thinking of you mate...:hug::hug::hug:

I'm with the crew - call right away. And praying it is NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING!

Love you -

J.

Hi Tracy, just read this and was wondering what the Doc had to say? Hoping for nothing,nothing, nothing. Fingers crossed!

Well the Mayo doctor never called back. I am thinking that the message was lost in translation some where....:eek2:

Anyhow, I had her ped GP check her out today while we were there for her yearly physical and he said he can not feel the lymph node. Good news to me. However, it doesn't change the fact that Gab still thinks there's one there because the area is very tender.
At least there are no fevers or any other symptoms.
So, I will play the watch and see game for a couple of days and if anything changes I will call her Mayo doc again. :)

YAY T, that's what I like to hear...can't feel anything! :ybiggrin:

So over the next couple of days don't forget to polish up on your looking at Gabs without really looking at her skills...:shifty-t:

Hope that lymph node has pulled it's head back in for good T!

Lots a love, :wub:
