Symptoms while on Remicade

I'm having mild pain while getting Remicade..is this normal?

What type of pain? Cramping? Do you get this type of pain with your flares or CD also or is this a new symptom?

My first infusion I had horrible pain in the arm that the IV was in. Arm pain went away the next two infusions. The next symptom was anaphylactic shock....:shifty:

Just to prevent any premature panic, I'll mention that joint pain is a fairly common symptom with Remicade infusions, and not a sign of impending anaphylactic shock.

If you're having gut pain after multiple Remicade infusions, definitely talk to your doctor.

I'm curious about the Lupus mentioned in your sig. How was that diagnosed? Was it pre-Remicade?

No, I don't mean joint pain..I do have a lot of joing pain...but I'm talking about pain that I have when I flare...it's not as bad as a flare but it's there. It scares me.
