My doctor wants me to start prednisone, and told me to stop taking entocort completely. I've been on it for almost a month, is it safe to stop cold turkey?
I took Entocort for over ten months before I tapered. It took three weeks to taper then... That would be something you should ask your GI or IBD nurse. It wouldn't take much for it to taper, as it is different than prednisone.
