Terrible chills during flares but no fever? Also groin pain?

Ive been noticing when I get flare ups lately I get the chills really bad along with awful nightmares and feeling mentally all wacky. I would attribute all of the above as normal with a fever but I haven't gotten one the past few flare ups. Any input on how normal that is?

Gotten this many times during flares. I also experienced very bad headaches it seems. I think it is very normal to get those symptoms since the whole immune system is being compromised many other things in the body are going to make that show. It is interesting that Crohn's not only affects or immune system and digestive system but other parts of our body.
I hope you are feeling better!!

My son often gets chills and sweats with no fever when flaring. I think it is part of the inflammatory response.

Hey i get that too during my flares. So is kind of normal when you have crohns. I kind of agree with the guy that talked about immune system. It is because been a crohn, your immune system is been compromised.

Yeah.. I can't stand it. I had a real bad episode last week and the pain, chills, and weirdness was so hard to deal with. Now my groin/hip is in an insane amount of sharp nerve like pain when i walk and i have no idea if thats from an old bulging disc coming back for a surprise or more crohns fun. Maybe I should just start smoking weed lol.
