I thought it might be good motivation for us all to see some of the hurdles we've overcome recently, whether small or monumental.

I played drum set for a local school musical pit orchestra every night this week. Each session is between two and three hours and I really missed playing. I had a seton placed last month, and for those of you who aren't familiar with drums, try searching for "drum throne" to see what kind of feat this is for me. :) I am thankful to finally feel well enough to sit for so long, play again, and be able to prep well enough that all the sitting and pedal activity doesn't make me sorry I made the commitment.

OK, your turn. A little positive motivation can hopefully go a long way!

Good thread Sawdust, well done for your achievement, when u have an illness like this a small step can seem like a huge victory! I used to play in a band but now im restricted to studio work with unlimited toilet access so i can appreciate how liberated you must feel!

So, my little victory this week - i bravely went to the supermarket yesterday for milk, bread etc, even though it was mobbed due to the royal wedding today. I have anxiety in crowded places so it was a big deal for me - but i said **** it and done it anyway!

A little victory goes a long way!

Hmm, well as i sometimes feel my Crohns isn't bad enough to qualify for small victories, as i just feel like i have to go a lot\suddenly, where as a lot of you seem to not be able to even leave the house :( :(.

But my little victory was finding a new GF who seems quite understanding :)

Really good idea for a thread.
I kinda proud of myself as im now back at work full time after 6 mths off ill and it's going really well :)
