Where are the questions you asked located?

Her doctor needs to rule out every other possible disease if they suspect it is Crohn's. My GI had me tested for lupus & tuberculosis even after my colonscopy said Crohns because it's their job to find out what exactly is wrong with their patient--in order to treat their patient properly. Some people can suffer from many different conditions. I don't have blood or bone problems. I do take calcium to prevent osteoporosis because my mother has osteoporosis.

Laura, the forum is a bit slow right now. Alot of folks are on holiday here in the UK and in Europe. So you need to give people time to read the thread.

That said, can you perhaps be more specific about the blood problems? Is it in any way related to any of the meds she is on with her Crohn's?

Hi Laura
and welcome

There are 3 or 4 replies to your post, you have to be patient sometimes, think about the time zones, we are scattered all over the world here.
That said, I'm sorry I can't help with this, not really sure which blood disorder your Mum has?
Has your Mum been on long term Prednisolone? If so, has this accounted for her osteoporosis?
You could type this in in the Search button and read recent threads on it.
Someone may come along with some answers soon
lotsa luv
