Thick worm-like mucus?

Has anyone ever had worn-like mucus? I'm on day 3 of heavy mucus during BM, /!: this morning I saw worm-like excrements in and around stool - probably TMI but large chunks of mucus around stool and 1 that was about the diameter of an earth worm and maybe 1/2 long actually in stool. Should I be worried about a potential parasite or is this normal for mucus? I've never had it this bad before luckily no pain or blood, just gross

Any guidance/insight is appreciated! I plan on contacting my dr if it doesn't clear up soon.

When flaring I have had threads of mucus wrapped around my poo (sorry if TMI). As you have had mucus for 3 days, I would give your doctor a quick call just to let them know and see what they think.

More mucous normally was a sign of a flare on the way for me , give your doc a call
