Over the years, my intestine has gotten thinner and thinner. Every time my bowel movements get healthy, they reach the thin part of my intestine and BANG pain and the stools become loose at that point.
I'm gonig for a balloon widening (can't recall the proper name) at the beginning of July. Can I expect some relief or will I just gt larger stools that still irritate? Other than that, I would feel fine.
The thinning started way back in 1997 - at first I thought it was a reaction to the 6MP and went to the emergency, it took a while, but once the stool passed the area, I felt fine. The pain is pretty bad when that happens, feels like a football coming out of my abdomen.
I had a colonoscopy done in March and my chrons looks good.
Anyone have any input?
Many thanks.
