Thoughts on whether meds or not...

My hubby had a foot of severely damaged intestine removed in May. It had assessed and perforated.
He's recovered and is feeling better. My question is thoughts on waiting to try meds and monitoring it? It's such a hard decision. There's drawbacks to the meds too. We're scared either way thx

It sounds like he had some pretty serious disease to require that much removal. What is the Dr saying? What do you feel like the pros and cons are?

if you can keep close monitoring eg annual colonoscopies etc. then you should be able to start once if Crohns come back
