As we all know a good percentage of us will eventually go under the knife. I decide not to wait any longer and will have some of my TI and a third of my colon removed. Not happy about it but, it is better to do it now than become an emergency later on. I'm sure it's going to be one hell of an experience from what I've read here in the forum. It is great to find all kinds of good info on the forum, it certainly helps understand what others like myself are going thru.
Surgery date is set for Mar. 25th
On a side note, I've stopped my Imuran to prep for the surgery and actually feel less pain, bloat and pressure after 3 days. I'm mildly surprised about that affect and when asked a number of doctors, all I got was a dumb-founded look with "not sure what it means" answer. Sometimes ya gotta love those doctors.
