So as of late, times have been tough. I haven't posted in awhile, but the last time I was here, I was experiencing a terrible bout of pain with antibiotics, and ever since then, life has not been good with crohns.
I'm back in a flare, and it feels like there isn't anything I can eat that won't upset me at times. I'm back on the pentasa and they even put me on prednisone which is something that makes me nervous. I'll have been on it a week on Thursday, so hopefully between then and a week from then I'll be feeling a bit better.
I'm trying a new diet that is similar to the SCD, but it's a little less restricting. My Mom met a man and his son who have crohns and they're doing fantastic, so he's helping us out which is a good thing! There are so many gluten free products out there that I never knew about and he's done so much research on how certain food products are made.
Last night was really rough though. I didn't eat enough with my pentasa and I spent the whole night with intense pain, diarrhea, throwing up, the whole nine yards. My parents wanted to take me to the hospital, but stubborn me, I toughed it out. :ybatty:
Sometimes I just feel like it never ends, and I guess I'm just looking for some support that things will get better from people who know what it's like to be sick. If anyone has any tips as well what helps in times like these, I'd appreciate them! I'm willing to try anything at this point to get me back into a remission!
