Does anybody else crash and burn after lunch?
When I return to work after lunch breaks, I have a really hard time staying awake for a couple hours.
I am anemic, and go in for my first iron infusion this Friday... So I hope that helps!

Yes!!! Especially if i had a baguette for lunch. I think mine is due to a glucose crash. I'm sure you'll do better after your iron infusion. They did wonders for me.

Not so bad just now but if things are on the slide or if I'm having bad period then definately. I usually feel like dropping around 2o'clock. I now know that if I work through it and generally keep out peoples way, I'll be ok for the rest of the day.

Usually want to crawl into bed by about 10pm though.

Yup I crash and burn after lunch. My iron stores are very slightly low but not enough to put anything down to that.

I take about 1-2 naps a day. I'm usually wiped out by 2-3 in the after noon and then around 7. Could be a lack of vitamins. I am not taking any(which i think is the reason i am so tired) so i should probably start.

I've been reading about Siberian Ginseng.
The article said....The cause
If you find yourself flitting between full steam ahead and burn out, you're probably pushing yourself too hard.
Stress makes huge demands on your body and can lead to serious burn out.
the problem is that any kind of stress is interpreted by the brain as a threat, triggering the adrenal glands to go into overdrive.
This produces spikes of adrenaline and cortisol, which gear the body up to flee or fight so you swing from geared up to crashed out, and back again.
Siberian Ginseng is helpful for stress adaptation - in other words, an adaptogen.
Something that enables us to adapt to the stresses and strains of our busy 21st century lives.
Siberian Ginseng helps to regulate the adrenal response.
(don't take it if you've got high blood pressure or diabetes)

Afraid you've been reading those quack websites Joan. I did try it once many years ago when I was much less cynical and rather naive. It didn't work!
Hmmm, which makes me realise my tiredness/etc has roots further back than I thought.
