The scope went great this morning and they got all way through the resection site. They were prepared to pop a balloon at the scar tissue I think, but it was unnecessary. Colon is healthy as could be and the scope went right through the Anastomosis without issue. The only thing they stopped to discuss was a couple of Titanium staples still hanging around up there.

That's the kind of thing we all want to hear I think :D

I really think I just need to do a little less sampling of delicious sizzling juicy BBQ beef & pork. It's poached chicken and fish most nights for this guy it would appear. No sense in aggravating my condition.

They asked one of the surgeons who was nearby and he said they usually disappear under polyp like growths and they wont hurt anything. It was either that or they try and grab them with the biopsy tool. I'm not sure what was worse. You would almost think they would grow out and come out on there own in the crapper at some point.

/shrug: they just left them there :whistleinnocently:

Hey Kenny congrats! Bummer have staples in there. Titanium doesn't rust so it wont hurt anything, it could be worse trying to dig it out. I always get dissolving stitches. I guess if it aint broke don't fix it... Hope they keep an eye on it though. Strange...

Woohoo! So good to hear that everything is looking great. Congratulations! :):):)

Dusty.
