Ugh... so I've been in flare for a few days... but wasn't having much more than feelings of discomfort and indigestion. And then I ovulated, and that has put me in crippling pain. I've been dosing myself with tylenol all day because I don't have anything stronger. I took some extra strength tylenol pm at around 3:30 but was only able to get three hours of fitful sleep out of it. Should I go to the hospital to get something stronger? Or should I just lie here and hope my GI is in his office tomorrow?

If it is, "Wow this sucks I wish I had something stronger" then it's your call. If it is writhing, screaming, "Something is wrong here" pain, head to the hospital.

I am SO bad at taking care of myself, because I tend to rationalize and say it isn't that bad. Even when it's bad. I've just done it so many times. My doctor would probably tell me to go. Ugh. So mixed up.

If it is bad enough you think your doctor would tell you to go, I would go. Just my opinion.

You may not want to put yourself through that hospital, however I made the mistake of waiting too long to go. It doesnt turn out well. So if you believe you need to go, I would suggest you do it.

I agree, I would go if your in a lot of pain. :( that happened to me a few weeks ago and when i got to the hospital they told me it was a good thing that I had came when I did because my blood levels were so low in everything.
Please go, I'm worried about you!

Thank you everyone for your support. I didn't end up going. I just took a heavy dose of sleep aid and waited out the night. Feeling like I'm in less agony this morning.

Seeing as you didn't go to hospital, I suggest you see your doctor just to check up and make sure you're okay.
