Todays Colonoscopy

So I had another colonoscopy today because a CT scan I had a few weeks back was abnormal. So I had my fun fun happy prep day yesterday and today zzZZZZzz time. Well I have only been on asacol and was told that it was doing nothing. I have active crohns in the cecum and transverse colon. I am being put on long term flagyl and Imuran. I will also start Remicade, Cimzia, or Humera. Next week at will be a follow visit to see about the biopsy they took of the inflamed tissue.

Sorry to hear that. It looks like they are trying to be aggressive. I hope you go straight into remission. Let us know what you end up with.

Try Remicade first. Humira is a good last resort as that was my case.

Yeah you can join the Remicade club! Sounds like your docs are mad at this disease and are going to pull out all the stops to get it under control!!
