Tooth pain

I was wondering if any one else has noticed tooth pain due to Chron's? I was on Humaria and it stopped but now that am off the pain has started again.. Its in my upper left tooth and has been hurting for some time now ive gone to dentiests to get it checked out and they tell me nothing is wrong.. Could this have to do with my Chron's?

Hi Awbrey. I am not on Humaria, but I have been on Prednisone and Entocort. I have always had good, healthy teeth. I went for years without cavities or problems. I blame the steriods on my dental problems. I had a dental appointment fairly recently and my dentist found 5 cavities. I've always had excellent dental hygiene. My gums are receding in some areas as well. Lovely! Your tooth pain may be caused by the meds. Good luck, and hopefully it's nothing that needs to be fixed.

I am having some terrible tooth pain at the moment. I have been to the dentist, no issues that he could see. I even had an x-ray and that didn't show anything wrong. My gums get quite swollen at different times, I am thinking that it is due to either the CD or medication. I did read somewhere that problems with teeth/gums can be a symptom of CD.
