Last night I attended a public presentation in Masterton, NZ by my gastroenterologist and IBD nurse. Wow they gave up their evening to spend with us 'cronies.' Heaps of info, free handouts, nice(free) food, opportunity for questions. It was sponsored by Abbott, the pharmaceutical company but it wasn't pushing their drugs. Crohn's & Colitis NZ (charitable trust)has been formed to act as an advocate and support for sufferers and their families.
