Just got an appointment through to have ultrasound done on both my shoulders as they are hurting like hell at the mo - along with all the other joints.
Is there any chance of me having just 1 day without pain? I think that's too much to ask really.
Am hoping there's not too much wrong with my shoulders - not sure I can handle anything else going wrong!

Well I had my ultrasound done on my shoulders - left one is doing fine, the right one is a real mess! :(
The results are going back to my specialist and now I have to wait to hear from him - am thinking it's going to be painful

So do you think your specialist will send you to a rhumy? I find a heating pad helps a bit and Astra had cortizone shots and other treatment. It can hurt like hell. What do you do for the pain? :hang:

The results are going to my Arthritis specialist - he's a top guy in the Rheumo world down here.
I've tried heating pads, ice packs and steroid injections - they don't seem to help much to be honest.
It's just a case of waiting to see what my specialist has to say - I know I'm not looking forward to it.
I'm on weekly Morphine patches and daily Tramadol tablets for the pain

I'll update this as soon as I know what's going to happen - I probably won't find out for a month or so

As he's the top Rheumo guy he's mega busy. I've been his patient for years so I usually have to wait longer than the rest - it's just the way it is.
If it gets too bad I'll just ring up and vent at him
