Hi I'm new to this, my very first post.
I have never been diagnosed with crohns disease but I think I do have it, I'm seeing doctor tonight about it.
I find sometimes that when I wake up in the morning I have a really strong urge to pass a bowel movement, only problem is after I finish I go back into my room and I need to go badly again after 1 min and this has happened up to 6 times on the trot.
I'm really not sure how to broach this subject with doctor, or with potential employers when I get job interviews.
Any advice would be great appreciated.
Thanks
Paul.

There is no problem with bringing this up with your doctors. Just tell the doc what you told us and ask what the cause is and what should be done to treat it. That will start you down the path to a diagnosis and treatment. There is no need to be embarrassed in talking to a doctor about this. They deal with much worse nearly every day.

For prospective employers, I wouldn't tell them anything at all about your health unless you are convinced that your diarrhea will interfere with the performance of your job and/or you are asking for some sort of unusual workplace accommodation for your condition.

I have had something similar happen in the psst. Tell the doctor about all your symptoms. He will probably run some tests. Let us know how you are doing.

I would not tell potential employers unless the time comes you really need to. Try to avoid that.

As far as the doctor's visit. Don't be embarassed! You need to tell the doctor everything that is going on. That starts the road to diagnosis and treatment.
